WHAT WE DO
Many times throughout the year we partner with businesses to hold events to raise money for our camp. If you would like to partner with us on a fundraising event please email us at fundraising@okffburncamp.org.
We also started a Public Education Committee to set up at different events around the community. If you know of an event you think we could set up at, email us at okffbceducation@gmail.com
Burn Camp Cigar- Ultimo Cigars
Our friend Tomas at Ultimo Cigars made a special blend of cigars as a fundraiser just for our Burn Camp. Last year he raised enough money from selling these cigars to send 5 kids to camp! You can visit Tomas at his shop in Tulsa all throughout the year to buy a special burn camp cigar.
February 9th- Strikes for Survivors
This is a first annual bowling fundraiser for our Burn Camp! Teams consist of 4-5 bowlers with options of three different sponsorship levels. Deadline to sign up is January 15th. Contact Jessica Pilgrim to sign up and visit the event FB page by clicking the button below. 918-607-5422
March 23rd- Blazin' Past Burns
This event is a 5K and 1 mile Fun Run hosted by one of our own, Hunter Wittrock! This fun run will be held in Kingfisher OK at the First Baptist Church on March 23rd and start at 8am. For more information or to sign up click the links below.
Smoke 'n' Guns
Smoke n Guns by 918 Fully Involved is an annual fundraiser, and one of our biggest, where we get to see Firefighters and Cops fight for charity! These fights are either MMA or Boxing where the team with the most wins gets majority of the money raised from this event. Firefighters from all over OK fight for our Burn Camp and Cops fight for the OK Special Olympics. Click the button below for more information and sponsorship opportunities.
April 11-14th- Young Adult Retreat
Our third annual Young Adult Retreat will be held April 11-14th at Sequoyah State Park this year. This retreat is for Burn Camp campers, young adults, and volunteers between the ages of 14-24. We are planning to teach life lesson and skill learning activities including how to set up a campsite, cooking on a campfire, building a bird house, hiking, DIY first aid kits, and much more! May 4th- Golf Tournament
This will be our 10th annual Golf Tournament raising money for our Burn Camp! Our Golf Tournament will be held at Page Belcher Golf Course in Tulsa. This is a 4 person scramble and will cost $400 per team. More information will be available closer to time so be sure to check our social media regularly!
Camp Bandage
Camp Bandage is held each year in May in Broken Arrow OK. Camp Bandage is all about safety advocacy in all different type of situations. What you learn there could save a life! Click the link below to view Camp Bandage's website.
June 1st- Port City VW Car Show
This year will be our 6th annual Port City all Volkswagen Car Show! Our car show is held each year at Port City park in Catoosa OK. VW's from all over the US come to our car show to support our Burn Camp. This car show is more of a community event than a car show as we are all one big family! Check our social medias regularly for registration updates and more information closer to June.
Burn Camp 2024
Burn Camp dates for 2024 have yet to be set but it will be held in August as it is every year at Camp Egan in Tahlequah. Camper and counselor applications will be mailed and sent out in May. Be sure to check your emails and our social medias regularly for updates as we get closer to August!
